Job Title: The Bicycle Valet Staff

Compensation: $16.25/hr

Job Summary

The Bicycle Valet is a social enterprise of Better Environmentally Sound Transportation (BEST). Since 2006, The Bicycle Valet has been providing professional, secure, coat-check style bicycle parking in and around Metro Vancouver, promoting sustainable transportation. We offer this as a free service to patrons, so it's quite possibly one of the best customer service gigs you'll find! If you are looking for a flexible schedule, and an opportunity to work outside providing a much-appreciated service across Metro Vancouver, this could be the perfect job for you!

Currently, we are looking for casual staff to help us out mainly on weekends and/or evenings.

Qualifications:

• Willing to do a basic level of physical work (setting up lightweight equipment and parking bicycles) and other event-related tasks as required

• Excited about sustainable transportation and serving patrons

• Looking for a casual or part-time position

• Share our values as an organization

• If you are looking to work driving shifts, you must also have a valid Class 5 or 7 driver's license and be comfortable and able to drive a larger vehicle on your own - please specify if you are interested in driving shifts in your email.
