to serve more events, park more bikes, and make traveling on two wheels throughout Metro Vancouver even easier.  With The Bicycle Valet, riding bikes to and from events can be a more viable transportation option.

What is the Bicycle Valet?

The Bicycle Valet makes event bike parking simple.  Part “coat check”, part parking lot for bikes and other non-motorized transportation, it is an easy and safe bicycle parking solution at community events of all sizes.

The Bicycle Valet Experience

Patrons sign a claim check, give us their bike and keep the stub.  When they are ready to leave, theybring back their stub and the bike is returned.  The service is free, friendly and convenient!

Behind the Scenes

BEST shows up at the venue one to two hours before the event begins to set up fences, bike stands and a reception tent. The fenced area is attended by BEST staff who remain on-site until all of the bikes have been claimed. At the end of the event, we tear down and clean up after ourselves.  All your venue needs to provide is space.

What does BEST provide?

• Secure, ticketed parking for bicycles during your event;
• Staffing and materials related to service;
• Secure fencing (if secure fencing is not provided);
• Training information materials for event volunteers and staff use;
• Cross-promotion at other Bicycle Valet events as well as through Bicycle Valet promotional materials; and
• Liability insurance.

The cost of our service depends on:

• The duration of your event (hours per day + number of event days); and
• Whether or not you can provide secure fencing, overnight storage and/or security (the latter two apply to multi-day events).

Please note, this service is offered free-of-charge to event goers.  Subsidized rates may be available for non-profit or low-budget community events.
