The Drum Is Calling – July 22nd to July 30th

The Bicycle Valet is open from 9:00AM to 11:00PM.
Events occur across nine days typically from 1:00PM to 10:00PM.

This nine-day festival will provide immersion to a diverse array of Indigenous art and culture. Along with performances, there will be hands-on workshops. This event is under Canada 150+, which responds to the topic of how to honor and acknowledge Indigenous peoples while marking Canada’s 150th anniversary.

Pro Tips:
There will be a pancake breakfast on the 22nd starting at 9AM for the first 500 people attending. Be sure to get there early if you want some pancakes!

How to Find Us:
We will be at the west corner of Larwill Park.

ROUTE 1 – from Kits:
Take Burrard Street heading east, and cross the bridge. Keep right onto Pacific Street, and then take a left to head north-east on Hornby. Continue until you hit Nelson Street, then turn right. Turn left onto Seymour, right onto Robson, and then left onto Cambie. You’ll find us up ahead at the corner of Larwill Park closest to you!

ROUTE 2 – from Eastside:
From Commercial-Broadway Station, you can take the Expo Line to Stadium-Chinatown, taking your bike onto the Skytrain with you. Once you’re out of the station, walk north-west on Dunsmuir Street, and then turn left onto Cambie. You’ll see the park to your left. The Bike Valet will be at the further corner beside Cambie.

Note: Beatty St. and Dunsmier both have great bike lanes, if the way you’re coming from would make good use of those streets.
