The Bike Valet Shipyards location capacity is 100 bikes at a time.
The Bike Valet is operated by BEST (Better Environmentally Sound Transportation) in partnership with TransLink. The Bike Valet Shipyards is possible thanks to the support of the City of North Vancouver. The Bike Valet offers a hassle-free solution for attendees of events, local attractions, and everyday commuters.

Terms and Conditions of Use:
By using The Bike Valet™’s service, patrons agree to the following terms and liability limitations:
Free Service: The Bike Valet™ is provided at no charge to patrons.
Respectful Conduct: Patrons must treat staff and others with respect. Aggressive or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in refusal of service.
Claim Stub: Patrons receive a claim stub upon check-in. This serves as proof of ownership and must be presented to retrieve parked items. Keep the stub safe; lost tickets are the patron's responsibility.
Parking Devices: We accept bikes, skateboards, unicycles, rollerblades, and strollers. No locking of bikes is required as our staff will monitor and ensure their security.
Personal Items: Patrons can leave helmets, locks, and bags attached to their bikes, but we are not liable for any loss or damage to these accessories.
Prohibited Items: Bikes or devices containing hazardous or illegal materials are not permitted.
Retrieval Time: Bikes must be retrieved within operating hours. Items left beyond these hours are at the owner's risk. Contact us at bikevalet@best.bc.ca within 24 hours if you leave your bike after closing time.
Insurance: While we maintain limited insurance, patrons should have personal insurance for full coverage. The Bike Valet™ is not liable for any damages or loss after operating hours.
Indemnification: Patrons agree to indemnify The Bike Valet™ and its staff from any claims arising from service use beyond our insurance coverage.
Service Changes: The Bike Valet™ reserves the right to modify terms and will notify patrons of any changes.
Liability Coverage:
Force Majeure: Coverage against unforeseen risks up to $50,000, with a $1,000 deductible and a maximum of $2,500 per item (proof of purchase required).
Device Damage/Loss: Compensation for incidents within operating hours, up to $150 per bike per event. This excludes attached belongings.
Unclaimed Bikes: Unclaimed items beyond operating hours might be retained or stored safely, but security is not guaranteed. Retrieval is subject to a $42 fee via donation link.
