The Bike Valet's presence grows in Victoria!
We're excited to continue providing bike parking amenities in Victoria! Thanks to the support of the City of Victoria and our partnership with Capital Bike, we now offer our free service year-round, seven days a week. You can find us conveniently located at City Hall, just off the bustling Pandora Ave cycling route, under cover for your convenience.

Winter-Spring operating hours: Jan 2 - Apr 30, 2024
Monday - Thursday: 7:30am to 6:00pm
Friday: 7:30am to 8:00pm
Saturday: 10:00am to 8:00pm
Sunday: 10:00am to 5:00pm
The Bike Valet will be closed on January 1, 2024
Summer operating hours: May 1 - Sep 30, 2024
Monday - Tuesday: 7:30am to 6:00pm
Wednesday - Thursday: 7:30am to 8:00pm
Friday: 7:30am to 10:00pm
Saturday: 10:00am to 10:00pm

Please note that The Bike Valet has special operating hours on select days and stat holidays. If you plan to visit us on any of the following days, please be aware of our modified hours:

Terms of Service
Patrons must receive a claim stub/ticket to have their bikes or other modes of active transportation parked.
Only staff members are allowed in the bike parking area.
Locks are not part of The Bike Valet’s system; the station is enclosed and secure.
A valid claim stub must be presented to access a parked bike, or any of its accessories.
Bikes must be picked up within operating hours.
We’re fully insured while the Valet is in operation; however, accessories are left at the risk of owner.
Staff reserves the right to refuse to offer service to items/modes of transportation that are not bicycles.
Bikes checked within the Valet may be subject to a stolen bike search on Project 529.
Please note that The Bike Valet is not liable for any bicycles that are left overnight, as this is not a part of our service. It is the responsibility of the owner to retrieve their bicycle before the end of our hours of operation. Patrons who leave their bikes after operating hours must contact thelocker@capitalbike.ca immediately. Any bicycles left behind overnight are at owners’ risk and will be subject to a $40 retrieval fee.
Unclaimed bikes left for over five business days will be impounded by the Victoria Police Department or donated to Re-Buy-Cycle Shop.
