Bike Valet – A Look Back at Our Roots

Cycling in Victoria continues to thrive—and we’re proud to have played a role in that journey. The Downtown Victoria Bike Valet was first launched with the support of BEST (Better Environmentally Sound Transportation), helping incubate the service and support its early success.

Today, the Bike Valet is fully operated by the City of Victoria and a local provider, offering secure, year-round bike parking at City Hall, just off the busy Pandora Avenue cycling route. Covered parking protects bikes from the elements, and extended hours are available during events at Centennial Square.

While BEST is no longer involved in current operations, we’re proud of the role we played in helping bring this service to life. This page remains as a nod to our involvement in supporting sustainable transportation across British Columbia.
